From stand-in to standout

Drop The Pressure

A three-piece of DJ, saxophone and drums, the act originally formed as the stand-in line-up for Riff Shop — and quickly outgrew the brief. What started as cover became a project of its own: club-ready production driven live by real drums and a sax cutting through the mix, turning recognisable tracks into something the room actually feels.

The format is the point. A laptop alone can't generate the energy of a live drummer locked into a kick pattern, or a saxophonist working a hook over a drop. Drop The Pressure delivers both, with the visual impact of a live act and the floor-control of a proper DJ set. It's a sharper, more premium booking than a standalone DJ — and a lighter, more flexible footprint than a full band.

Built for weddings that want club energy after the meal, corporate events that need a step up from background music, and venues that want their dance floor to actually move.
